I participated in an Ambassador program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received Kohl’s gift cards and sample pieces to facilitate my posts and as a thank you for participating.

Recently, as part of my ambassadorship with Kohl’s, I had the chance to sneak preview the new Peter Som DesigNation collaboration, that will be available exclusively at Kohl’s.  Inspired by St Barths, these pieces are flirty and fun with quite a nautical flair.

What’s in this Peter Som for Kohl’s Sneak Peek?

First up was the black and white dress.  This is the type of dress that can take you from day to  night, and back to day again.  Pair it with a blazer for work.  Lose the blazer and add some sparkly jewelry and a pair of fabulous heels to hit up happy hour or for dinner with that certain someone.

Kohl’s and Peter Som are calling this a halter dress, but it has a full coverage back, so don’t worry about that.  The bias cut striped tier adds fun movement to the dress.  I chose to pair the dress with a fabulous  bold turquoise and coral necklace.

The striped romper is another super fun piece.  Great shades of red and coral-y orange are set against a beautiful sandy beige and creamy white.  Of course, I think you can’t go wrong with stripes, especially a bold one like this.  Full zipper down the back makes for an easy on and off, and the buttons on the shoulder add a cute detail.

Finally, we have the Pineapple Graphic Tank.  A swingy a-line cut with a distressed pineapple print makes this much more chic than your normal tank.  Add in the burnout fabric, exposed seams, and raw edges that are so popular, and it’s right on trend.  Wear it with jeans and a hoodie now, a cute skirt once it warms up a little more, or even out to the beach.

Even celebs are getting in on the Peter Som for Kohl’s trend.  Jenna Dewan-Tatum was recently seen wearing the elastic cuff pants while out and about.

When Can We See the Peter Som Kohls Collection?

Ready to see the new DesigNation line for yourself?  Patience, my dears.  We’ll all be able to have a sneak peek at the Peter Som for Kohl’s line April 4^th and 5^th.  The line will be in stores starting April 10^th.  For now, this background info and video about the collection will have to whet your appetite.
