Easter was always a holiday of significant importance. While we weren’t particularly religious, it was a time that our family got together to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company.
One of the other features of the holiday was Easter baskets and Easter gifts. Now, my grandmother and great grandmother seemed to be in a competition to see who was the better gift giver, so it was a lot like a second Christmas. We’ve gathered up some of our favorite Easter gifts for kids of all ages. Even the grown up variety.
Be sure to check out our great Easter gifts for adults, too.

Mudpuppy Magnetic Dress Up Tins
Paperdolls were always a fun toy when I was a kid. That is, until pieces got lost or were torn, or someone spilled something on them. Enter Mudpuppy’s Magnetic Dress Up Tins. They’re a modern twist on the classic paperdolls in themes like Woodland Ballet and Purrmaid. By being magnetic, kids can play with them again and again, without fear of the pieces getting ruined. The storage tin has two fun scenes, and there’s three sheets of nice, heavyweight magnetic accessories for dressing your character – more than 40 pieces! Even better, when you’re done playing, the pieces can go in the tin for easy storage.
Vosges Haut Chocolate
When I was a kid, one of the things that was always in my Easter basket was good quality candy. Not a lot of it, but a 4 pack of truffles, and as I got older, the quality definitely improved. But it’s a tradition that I think a lot of people should start. Introduce your children to good food. Vosges Haut Chocolate is a perfect introduction. Their treats are delectable, and are still affordable. The Enchanted Mushrooms, made from milk chocolate and filled with hazelnut filling are a great addition to an Easter basket. If you want to go bigger, opt for a House of Nuwa collection and spread the love between several baskets. Or, y’know, treat yo’self!
