The holidays are right around the corner and are sneaking up on us before we even realize it. If your family is anything like mine, this means that you’ll be cooking up a storm.
Whether you’re hosting dinner or simply making treats, there’s a mess that’s going to be made.
In our family, we love to make treats. A lot of treats. One of our traditions is to give gift baskets full of homemade goodies. Some of our favorite items to include in these baskets are jams and jellies, mustards, and candy. Of course, you can’t forget the cookies. We have to make thumbprint cookies and snowball cookies, and even good old-fashioned brownies. By the time we’re done, there’s flour and sugar and who knows what all over the place.
All of this cooking not only keeps us busy, but it makes a big ol’ mess.
And we all know that mess needs to be cleaned up. There are a few things that make your life easier though. One of these is the Neato Robotics intelligent robot vacuum.
I moved into a new house earlier this year, and we have these gorgeous dark engineered hardwood floors. They are absolutely stunning, but are practically a full-time job to keep clean on a normal day. Add in the powdered sugar and flour that has spilled from cookie baking, and well…it’s a chore.
What is a Neato Robotics Vacuum?
I’m sure by now you know about robotic vacuums. They are vacuums that can run on their own to help you cut down on the housework you need to do. There are many models on the market, but we’re featuring Neato Robotics and their line of vacuums.
Neato has several models based on both your needs – from basic cleaning to areas that you want more frequent cleaning – and the size of your home. A space that’s 1500 square feet has different needs than a space that’s 4,000 square feet. We’re focusing on the Neato Robotics new lineup.
Neato Robotic Vacuum Features
There are many distinct features that set the Neato Robotics vacuums apart from the others on the market. They include:
There are models specifically designed for different sized spaces, Neato D8 (up to 750 Sqft), Neato D9 (up to 1,600 Sqft) and Neato D10 (up to 2,700 Sqft) on a single charge. Other brands have a one size fits most policy, and that just doesn’t work for a lot of people.
No cameras or microphones. This means there’s no chance of your vacuum listening to your conversations or watching your home. After all, privacy is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain.
Program your robotic vacuum for the level of clean you want. The Intelligent models of the Neato Robotic Vacuums can be programmed to clean rooms more often – or avoid them completely. Personally, I’d program it to clean around my kitchen island more frequently, as we use it as a casual table and a workspace when cooking.
It runs with lasers. – Since Neato uses lasers instead of a camera system, it can clean in the dark. That means it can run at night or under your furniture with no problems.
Dual Mode Cleaning. Neato D8 and D9 Intelligent Robot Vacuums have two cleaning modes – Eco and Turbo. Use the Eco for everyday cleaning and messes. When you’ve got a stubborn mess like pet hair or flour in your rug? Turn on Turbo mode, which increases suction and the speed of the brush. You’ll get that mess up in no time. But if you want the deepest clean step-up to the Neato D10 with Max “vacuum” mode.
These are just a few of the impressive features of the Neato Robot Vacuum.
