It’s my friend Cyndie’s birthday this weekend. There are few things she enjoys more than a good cocktail. Of course, since she’s a good Georgia girl, she loves watermelon. This Watermelon Margarita recipe is perfect for cooling down on not just Memorial Day Weekend, but all summer long. Plus this tasty cocktail recipe makes enough for four servings. You can whip up a batch ahead of time and just pour over ice when you’re ready to serve.

It’s all in the presentation
Wow your friends by creating a fun watermelon punch bowl to serve your delicious margarita. Using a sharp knife, carefully trim the bottom of a seedless watermelon to make it a flat surface. Next, cut off the top (about ¼ of the watermelon) and hollow out the flesh with a melon baller. Use an ice cream scoop or large spoon to scrape the inside walls of the watermelon clean. Fill with your favorite margarita recipe, or Sparkling Margarita, and enjoy!
Watermelon Ice, ice baby

Cut a seedless watermelon into chunks roughly the size of ice cubes. Place in a single layer on a baking pan. Wrap the tray in plastic wrap and freeze overnight or for several hours until cubes are completely frozen. Pop a cube or two to add flavor and colorful fun to your favorite margarita.
