Have you heard of Champneys?  Champneys is a high end chain of luxurious spas based in the UK.  They have both day spas and destination spas.  This is where the rich & famous of England go to get spa treatments.  Due to the popularity of these locations, people were clamoring to try the treatments at home.  

Champneys heard the requests and granted our wishes.  We can now purchase Champneys products in stores near us.  Even here, across the pond in the states.  

The good folks at Champneys were generous enough to send me a selection of items.  This selection included Skin Comforting Miracle balm, Oriental Opulence Body Glow, and Oriental Opulence Shimmering Body Oil.

There are certain brands that always conjure up memories.  For me, Garden Botanika is one of those brands.  I used to love going into the boutiques in my local mall.  I could try out all the different lotions and potions that they carried.  They also had unscented versions of many of the fabulous Garden Botanika products that you could buy as is or have them custom scented.  It was there that I discovered my love of  Fresh Cut Grass scent. 

Our local mall no longer has a Garden Botanika store.  However, I have discovered that I can order via their catalog or the website.

For the past couple of months, I’ve been trying out the Sibu Beauty skin care regimen.  I’ve posted a time or two about my prior lack of a skincare routine. When I say lack of a skincare routine, I mean it.  I would wash my face when I was in the shower.  I might or (usually) not use moisturizer. I rarely removed my makeup before bedtime.  And preventative or anti-aging treatments?  Uhhh…can I plead the fifth on that? 

Well, I mean, you can probably figure that out for yourself.  If I’m not moisturizing, I’m definitely not using serums, eye creams, and stuff like that.  In the past couple of years, though, my life has changed drastically.  I had a birthday.  And then another one that put my perilously close to that landmark 3-0.

Like most girls and young women, I adore beauty products. I’m not sure why, as I’m not that much of a girly girl in other aspects of my life. For some reason, though, beauty and fashion are like my siren’s song. 
 
Because of this, I am always looking for new products. And I am all too eager to try them out! Merlot Skin Care is a line that I was unfamiliar with. I had seen it on websites like Drugstore.com but had never experienced the line for myself. 
 
After doing a little bit of research, I discovered a few things about the line. First, they harness the antioxidant powers of grapes.  Ahhh…that explains the name Merlot. 
Grape seed antioxidants are 50 times more powerful than vitamin E and 25 times more powerful than vitamin C. These anti-oxidants help fight the free radicals that age your skin. Free radicals are all around us and are caused by things like smog, stress, smoke, UV rays, and pollution.
