I had heard of Envirosax but hadn’t paid much attention. I knew they were reusable bags that you could take along with you when you did your shopping but that was about the extent of my knowledge.
When the opportunity to test drive Envirosax arose, I jumped at it. I have several of the reusable grocery bags but I never seem to have them with me when I’m out shopping. I’ll put them in the back of the car and forget to bring them in the store. So, I figured I’d take the Envirosax out on my Saturday errands.
The first stop was the Farmer’s Market. Welll…that was the plan at least. Mother Nature had other plans. We desperately needed the rain, so I wasn’t too upset! I did need to make a mail run, so I loaded the Envirosax up with packages and off we went!
It easily held my 15 or so packages and there was plenty of room to spare. From the post office we went to Joanns. And Hobby Lobby. Then on to Pier One! In all, I hit half a dozen stores and just tossed my purchases into the bag. I did forget to take a picture though.
The best part of the Envirosax, though is how little space it takes up! It weighs practically nothing and holds up to 44 lbs! There’s also a tag inside that shows you how to fold it back up into the tiny little package it comes as. I have started tossing the Envirosax in my purse so I (almost) always have it handy.
Conserving Now has offered one lucky reader the chance to win their own Envirosax! In addition, ConservingNow.com also has free decals that you can put on your car window so you remember to bring your bags inside with you.
