Cleava Snap to Bra Mock Camisole Review

Cleava2 Cleava Snap to Bra Mock Camisole Review

Have you seen Cleava?  If you watch just about any amount of TV, I’m sure you have.  Cleava are the product that gives the illusion of a camisole, but it snaps to your bra.  It’s great for low cut tops, or to change the look of your clothes up a little.  We all have tops that are a little too low cut, or give a peep-show when we bend over.  I thought that Cleava mock camisole would be the perfect accessory to help with that problem.

That’s great and all, but how well does it work?

Cleava sent me a Lady Lace Corso in red to test out.  When I first opened the package, I have to admit – I was a little concerned.  The Cleava looked like the front part of a g-string.  I kind of had my doubts about how well it would work.  As I examined it further, I sat that there were several snaps.  Which made sense, as the selling point was that it snaps to your bra.

So, I decided to try it on.  I just whipped my top off and snapped the Cleava on.  The bra I was wearing happened to have it’s own camisole design, so that didn’t work too well.  It just looked…odd.  Once I figured out that’s what was causing the issue, I tried a different bra.

The Cleava fit and worked perfectly!  The two straps snapped around my bra straps, while the part that ticks into your top fastens around the band of your bra.  And it stays put!  Awesome!!

I was also curious about the quality of the Cleava.  Let’s face it – we’ve all ordered things that were not that nice when we got them.  I was really surprised at how nice the quality of the Cleava mock camisole was.  The lace is really nice quality.  The site says the fabric is polyester, but the lace felt like rayon.  It was super soft and slinky, not scratchy or rough at all.  The backing fabric is definitely polyester.

Cleava mock camisoles come in a ton of colors and fabric choices, too – I counted more than 20 on the website.  You could get a different one for each outfit.  You can purchase from the website, and probably at a local store.  Connect with them on Facebook, twitter, or Pinterest, too.

Have you tried Cleava?  If so, what are your thoughts about it?

I HAVE SO MANY TOPS TO WEAR THESE WITH. I HAVENT REALLY WORN SOME OF THEM BECAUSE I FELT UNMODEST IN THEM AND SOME TEES AND TANKS ARE A LITTLE BULKY OR LUMPY UNDER THEM I WOULD LOVE TO TRY ONE AND SEE IF IT IS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR-THANKS!

  2. Carrie Phelps says:

This is such a great idea. There are times when I need something under a low cut top but I don't want another shirt as it's too hot or bulky. Love it!

  3. Trasina McGahey says:

These would be perfect for my daughter who always wears a cami!

  4. Debbie Petch says:

Well, this is very unusual.  I would at least like to try it out.

  5. Kortney Picker says:

I actually love this idea!  I am constantly pulling up my cami's this is something that would stay in place and I wouldn't have to worry about it!!  Great for women like me on the busty side that can become inappropriate quickly if we are not super careful!

  6. Melinda Dartmann says:

Having a larger bust, it's always been hard for me to keep everything covered and not looking like it's falling out all the time. At least with the Cleava I can cover it up and keep from embarrassing myself with things trying to fall out all the time. Definitely gonna look into getting some of these, especially with the newer tops that they make now that I can't wear.

    Love the idea…so convenient

  8. Paul T/Pauline T says:

I really love this concept. My shirts always show some cleavage and with larger breasts, something like this is a must

  10. Viv Sluys says:

I love this product! I am always layering a full cami under my shirts and then being to warm. This is a fabulous idea

  11. Trish F says:

Hello, I have never tried this but I have a few tops the I quit wearing because they were too low cut and I couldn't find something to wear under them.  This would solve that problem.  Thanks for the review.

  12. Rachel says:

This is a great idea. I swear, I always have cleavage showing (not on purpose) being naturally big busted. This is a like a miracle!

  13. willis flanagan says:

I am older and these make me more confortable with low cut blouses.

  14. eleanor q says:

This is something I'd like to wear. Sometimes layering a camisole under my clothes is too hot during the summer. So to keep modest at work, this is something I could wear.

  15. Wendy says:

My teen daughter would really like these as she is very concerned about showing any cleavage whatsoever. For myself, I think the Cleava is a great alternative to having to wear a tank or camisole under low cut shirts when it's hot out! I like that they have a lot of different style choices too.

I have on a shirt right now that could use one lol and so many more hanging up

  17. krista grandstaff says:

super handy to have just tucked into a purse for when you need to change a look up, or need a bit more coverage… Hate when I'm wearing a great new sweater and then realize I can't bend over the entire time…lol..

  18. Katy M says:

This is SO smart! I have soooo many tops this would save! I live in San Diego and it's warm here most of the year. I like the look of a cami but don't always like to layer. This is perfect!

  19. LAMusing says:

Being a busty woman I love these!  It's a struggle to not look cheap in fitted tees
