Arctic Zero – My New Ice Cream Replacement

arcticzero Arctic Zero My New Ice Cream Replacement

I have been trying.  I really have.  I’ve been walking instead of driving (when I can); I’ve been trying to exercise more regularly.  I’ve even been trying to eat better; I already cut out meat, but I’ve been working on eating a more balanced diet, cooking more at home, etc.

All goes well until that little voice starts nagging at me…you know the one that says ‘you know you want something sweet, cool, creamy, delicious.   Have a candy bar!  Just walk down to the store and get one!’  If you’ve ever watched your weight, you’ve heard that voice, and you know how hard it is to quiet that beast.

This summer I discovered a new sweet treat from Arctic Zero.  It is not ice cream, but it is as close as you can find.  It is satisfying, and has a great texture and flavor.  I think that the texture is a little more like a creamy sorbet.  Their flavors are the same as your favorite traditional ice cream flavors; from the standards of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, to chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate cookie, and even pumpkin!  They even have Arctic Zero bars, which are a great grab and go snack!  Arctic Zero bars are even covered in chocolate!  MMMmmm Mmmmmm good!!

Arctic Zero is not a diet food.  It is creamy and flavorful.  It has health benefits, but it is a product I would add to my regular shopping list.  It tastes good.  Arctic Zero has been featured in many places, including the Today Show, Dr. Oz, ands Fox News.

It is all natural, and good for you too!  Arctic Zero is fat free, gluten free, is high in fiber and protein, and only has 150 calories per pint.  It is suitable for Type 2 Diabetes patients as well as those who are lactose intolerant.

I’m having a hard time on choosing my favorite flavor; they are all so good!  If I had to choose, though, my favorite would be the Mint Chocolate Cookie, then maybe the Strawberry.  Arctic Zero would be a great base for a smoothie or shake – there is a recipe on their website!

My daughter has talked about this and it sounds great….would love to try all those flavors!  I know some of our Hy-vee grocery stores carry them.  I will have to check it out.  They are low in calories and have protein…perfect for my family.  I'm glad to hear they come in bars too.

  5. Marti Parks says:

I have to try the pumpkin flavor. I'm sure I would like the peanut butter chocolate too!!

  6. krista grandstaff says:

I wasn't aware that they were ok for Type 2 diabetes patients…that is wonderful :) I thought my husband would just have to stick with the teaspoon of regualr ice cream that he has every so often…what a nice change this would be!

  7. Sherrie C. says:

I'm an ice cream fanatic! I get cravings for that yummy sugary stuff all the time but I know it's not good for me, especially now that I'm Insulin Resistant. I really need to change my eating habits and would love to give Artic Zero a try, especially the Mint Chocolate Cookie!

  8. Cody Anderson says:

I love that they have gluten free ice cream, plus they have my favorite, pumpkin!!

Funny that I found this giveaway on your site! My mom JUST told me about Artic Zero. Her review was similar to yours although she said it wasn't as good as ice cream but a good occasional treat when she is craving nice cream. She loved that she could eat the whole pint herself! For a no sugar and no fat, it sounds pretty good!

  17. Georgette says:

All of these flavors look great. I've been trying this gelato that's supposed to be better for you than ice cream, but it's just not doing it. No flavor…Arctic Zero looks yummy.

  18. polly says:

i like their variety of flavors but especially it is only 150 calories per pint

I'm going to recommend this to my Mom!  She is undergoing Cancer treatment and her doctor wants her to eat healthy.  Since she's tired all the time, she likes her little "pick me ups" and this would be perfect without all the unhealthy stuff.  Thanks

  21. Wow! I never heard of it!!! I am excited for my Mom as she has Diabetes and loves ice cream but stays away from it. I have not seen it in my local Grocery Store:)

  22. Nicole Strunk says:

I have been seeing this a lot lately, but haven't jumped on it because I was not sure if it was good or not. Maybe I will give it a shot next time I see it/

  23. Caitlin chapman says:

I'm wondering if it tastes like Splenda or aspertame. I'm not a fan of those, if it doesn't I would totally try it.

  24. Kathy S. says:

I enjoy ice cream very much and this sounds great with being low calorie.

  25. Saver Sara says:

I haven't seen this product yet but would love to try the chocolate peanut butter.

  26. Jennifer says:

I have tried a few flavors and really liked the cookies n creme, although it's very different than the typical cookies n creme flavor. For some reason, the chocolate flavor was really hard and lacked flavor, and I wouldn't recommend it, but definitely try cookies n creme!

  27. judy gardner says:

i have seen givaways for this but didnt enter cause i didnt know much about it.  thanks for sharing- now i know i will enter giveaways for this!

  28. Richard Hicks says:

  29. Christian Alejandro N. says:

My friend told me these are amazing. This review makes me have to go get some.

  30. Stacy says:

The coffee and the pumpkin spice both look good! My husband won't eat "diet" anything, but I bet I could get him to eat these.

i have not eaten this kind and would love  to try it

  32. Amanda Sakovitz says:

i love the fact that its all natural but doesnt taste like it. I have wanted to try this for awhile.

  33. Heather! says:

Wow, guilt-free and delicious??  I am going to have to try these!  I haven't seen them anywhere yet, but I tend to try to stay away from the ice cream aisle.  These might not technically be ice cream, but I suspect that's where I'll find them! :)

  34. I keep hearing about this Ice Cream but cannot find it anywhere near me! I'd love to try it!

  35. Betty Jackson says:

It's post like this that make me wish I wasnt allergic to dairy.  Lactose intolerance deals with the sugar, my problem is the protein…and soy is an issue too.  This looks AMAZING though!  I love that they have made so that diabetics can enjoy it.

  36. Gianna says:

I would try the chocolate peanut butter first!

  37. Rosanne says:

If it is not ice cream what is it made of?

  38. amanda roach says:

these look really good i would love to try them

  39. MonaG says:

I would like to try this and the coffee flavor is the one I would sample. 150 calories in the whole pint?! I have a weakness for ice cream and prefer the premium high-fat creamy ones. But I'm wary about weather the price is reasonable.

  40. Christian Alejandro N. says:

Lots of great flavors.. This sounds like it's definitely worth a try! :-)

  41. Richard Hicks says:

this is just what I have been looking for!  Low calories and yummy!
