June Bloom Beauty Box Review #bloomtrends

This month was busy for the Bloom girls.  The box was packed full of goodies that we oozed and ahhhed over. 

First up was the big box of fab from Pacifica.  You can read about Pacifica Perfumes here. 

Next, we got sample palettes of Stila’s In the Moment and In the Garden eye shadows.  We had to do a look with each of these.  Here’s my two looks. 

Stila In the Garden Eye.  Using Nectar, Honey, Sage, Moss

Stila In the Moment eye – Using Instinct, Impulse, Glance, Improvise

The In the Moment shadows were really kind of sub-par.  Total Disappointment!  They didn’t come off the card nicely, and flaked instead. I really liked those colors, too.  Ah well.  The In the Garden colors came off nice and smooth.

Then there were the Kaia Juicy Bamboo facial cleansing cloths.  I would pass on these.  They have the texture of a baby wipe and are about half the size of one.  The smell was decent, but you really had to hold it up and breathe deep.  We were supposed to remove half of  our makeup with these.  As you can see from the pic, that’s about what happened.  As you're looking at the mugshot-esque pic, the makeup on the right side has been removed.  It didn’t remove the eye makeup or the lip stain too well.  It did kind of okay on the mineral makeup.  Very meh, and at $18 for 30, there are a lot better products out there.

The there was the Booty Parlor Flirty Little Secret Firming Bronzer.  This stuff has pheromones in it, so it’s supposed to attract the opposite sex.  I don’t know if it really worked, but I did have a customer follow me around at Lowe’s, until I ducked down an aisle.  I also had the barista at Starbucks upsize my coffee at no charge.  Hmmm…

It had a great color, too.  Not too pale, not too weird brown or orange.  It was kind of just right, of you know what I mean. 

So, that wraps up June's goodies.  I can hardly wait to see what July has in store!
