I'm an avid reader.  Books were always important in our house when I was growing up.  Inspired by this post at Hobbies n A Budget, these are some of my favorite children's books.

One Potato, Two Potato – and Onion Rings

Have you ever seen the movie Mermaids?  The one with Cher, Winona Ryder, and Christina Ricci?  All they eat is finger foods and appetizers.  While I do enjoy a balanced meal, I could live on finger foods. 

The people at Alexia must have known this about me.  I received dinner, errr, a care package from them that included their famous Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Puffs, and Parmesan Lemon Waffle Cut Potatoes. 

The first thing we did was open them all up and lay ‘em out on a cooking sheet.  Well, the first thing I really did was read the directions.  When I saw that they all had basically the same cooking instructions, I laid them out on a cookie sheet. 

After patiently waiting nearly half an hour(!) it was time!

I am a huge fan of blue cheese and garlic.  This dip/dressing has both.  I find that most people who don’t like blue cheese dressings have been subjected to the nasty stuff that comes out of a bottle. 

No more!  Now you can make a really great blue cheese dip or dressing, completely from scratch.  Well…kinda from scratch.

You will need:

¼ c Mayonnaise
¼ c Sour Cream
2 Tblsp Blue cheese, crumbled
¼ tsp Minced Garlic
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
